My take on the Emi Martinez saga is this. I believe he stays this transfer window but there will be in place a transfer in January. Due to his injury after all, noone is going to sign a player that needs surgery now, are they?
This season is a season of transition. We need to get the new signings gelled in and we have the right people in place to do this. I think we will finish around the 7th to 10th positions this year and for me after all the changes that ain't bad not good but not bad.
Signing Suziki is a masterstroke by Villa; the publicity we will generate over in Japan will be huge and also will help with shirt sales and possible sponsorships. Anyway, enough of me rambling on, let's enjoy this season win, lose or draw. Let's get behind the lads and manager and remember there are things more important than football.

They reckon sign Japanese or Mexican players if you want to shift shirts.

I'm sure he's already had his surgery on his finger. I just want him gone at this point, he's just going to continue to cause unrest in every window until he goes, because it's been made pretty obvious that he wants out.

Clearly, social media and the rise of 'experts' online is really rotting brains now.
Martinez was told before the end of last season that he was up for sale to reduce costs after we missed out on CL.
The club tried to sell to United and get Lammens in, but couldn't get the money they wanted. Obviously, Martinez was unsettled for a while with it dragging on so long.
Juve are the ones, this time, stirring the pot, acting like the dirtsheets last year were fact.
Like United, they are taking the absolute pee price wise.
Same with Konsa: an Arsenal fan, who wouldn't know a football if it hit him in the face, writes that "he wants the move", and people lose their mind. Rogers was only ever going to go to Arsenal, until he didn't.
The person who questioned Konsa's mentality seems to have forgotten how he put Ramsey in his place when we qualified for the Conference League.
