Leeds proved what hard work, plenty of running and a determined midfield that made it very difficult to run through. Watching us, our midfield is often over run making us so easy to play through. We are probably all fed up with reading that we need another two quality midfielders,along with a quality defender, these are far far more important than another winger.

Looking at the sides we probably thought would be below us, such as Leeds, Newcastle, Palace, Brighton, Brentford, even Forest and Fulham they all play so much better football and look a threat.
We just appear a threat to no one, poor defence, poor midfield and a manager who doesn't seem to have a clue.
Bring in Pochiteno before we are well adrift.
This season has relegation struggle all over it.

I said it here a few weeks ago that we hadn’t recruited enough quality and guys argued that we had and that we had better squads than most of those teams, not from what I’ve seen this season, I honestly don’t know is it the players or the manager or both, all I know is we didn’t look like a team on Saturday and Steve looked lost on the sideline he had no idea how to stop them playing straight through us, this was CRYSTAL PALACE for crying out loud, and take into consideration that we could make 5 subs yes 5, that’s half the outfield players! If we have so much depth in our squad now why couldn’t gerrard change the flow of the game, it was only the grace of god and VAR that kept the score at 1-1 for so long, we played most of the game like the last 5 mins of the Everton match
