Apparently Gardner has been offered a new contract. Personally I think this is great news, think he deserves a chance in the squad, can't be any worse than Sylla or KEA.
1.) Gardner this, gardner that. the boy isn't that good, no better than the guys in the 1st team i'm afraid! he is just a very poor version of jack wilshere (can't believe i'm comparing the 2!) but he's injured 9 out of 12 months every year so a decent comparison I guess!
2.) Think about the bigger picture, a player getting a new contract? Means we've got some wiggle room even with Lerner as owner, so hopefully we can keep hold of Albrighton an some others!
3.) But for injuries Gardner would have been on that plane to Brazil different player to Wilshere, who has stated how good GG is villajk
4.) Gardner evidently does have a lot of potential- he has barely played yet has still been offered a new contract
5.) And I would have been on that plane too if I hadn't broke my wrist last week.
wake up, gardner is rubbish just like his bluenose brother!

Larry Ellison apparently spotted at white hart lane, don't know how much truth is in this, but certainly hope it's true! Relegation is definite if serious investment isn't made this summer.
1.) It's the most common rumours going around. If he doesn't take over now I will be very suprised. He has the money to spend and that is what we need.
2.) I have heard that villa was sold in November pending survival in league but not sure who too. I hope who told me is correct and they have sold it to a football fan not a Vincent tan
3.) Statement expected today, however all it will say is that villa are up for sale nothing else, all talks of owners already in place are miles off

Let's face it, this joke of manager a manager will not be going anywhere anytime soon.
I'm afraid to say we are stuck with him until the championship and beyond. 8 games with 1 goal would be enough for any other manager to get the chop.
They way things are I can only see us finishing bottom with no more wins to our name. Be surprised if we score another goal :)

Fantastic signing! Can't wait to see him tearing defences apart!
He's had one bad season and that automatically makes him a bad and overrated player? I don't think so, he would be very good signing, and to be fair I'd rather him than Westwood. Champions league and international experience is very welcome.

You've mentioned delph as well as a player to be rid of. Seriously do you even know your own team? Improved remarkably this season, just needs to touch up his passing and he'll be a class act. And I stand by what I said regarding Guzan, and I'm sure nearly every real Villa fan would agree with me on that. Joe Hart made more than his fair share of mistakes this season, yet is still Cities and England's no. 1. Also with a back line like Villas, you're going to be put to the test more than the average keeper in the league.
Guzan has been Villas best player the past two seasons. If it weren't for him we certainly would've been down, no chance he should leave, he's a legend
Would love to see caulker in a villa shirt next season, and think Mutch would be a good signing. Doesn't matter if he once played for blues, the guy could do a job for us. Wouldn't take anyone from the Fulham squad apart from holtby, but obviously he's spurs.
