Okay so I have held my councel on this in the interests of positivity but now I feel it's time to say just how massively Hollis has messed up. He has been silent since doubts started to emerge late last week about Mr Xia and even if he does now end up being legitimate he has the media crawling all over him. Come on really who can honestly say that they weren't just a little convened last Wednesday when the name Dr Xia first emerged and we all starting googling and found nothing at all? Not on any rich lists and no company accounts or information. I am so very sorry but this is looking bad, very bad. So so disappointed.

He did an interview with the Mail where he proved he had at least £4bn in a bank account. so he's ambitious and has x4 as much money as Lerner. we are in a real pickle.

too many things don't add up about this deal
staff being made redundant 2 weeks before a takeover, the involvement of chris samuelson, the price its been sold at stinks of desperation from lerner, the claims of super stardom by our completely unknown potential new owner
my old nan used to tell me if things look too good to be true they probably are.
im genuinely hoping this deal crashes now, really do hope i'm wrong but this looks way too wrong to me.

you will all look back in 3 years and say why did I doubt this guy. he has plenty of money and will pass all tests no problem.

Well said Class of 82. The people saying we should have blind faith are misguided in my view and there is no evidence yet, and I deliberately say yet, to suggest that Xia will be good for AVFC. I for one need to see some proof followed by some action.

Definitely agree with you about Stratford. I am only having a bit of fun. The reality is that the deal will be concluded in the offices of whichever lawyer has been appointed to complete the paperwork. The takeover of LFC was concluded at Slaughter and May in Bunhill Row, London, I remember walking past the media scrum at the time. I am still sceptical that's all because I want this to happen as much as anyone and the evidence that it is happening is still very circumstantial to say the least. I really hope I am wrong about that though.

Kingvilla you are like a modern day Nostradamus. He made millions of predictions too and every now and then one came true. It's called the law of averages. At least Nostradamus made his predictions for things to play out long after his death so that he didn't suffer the indignity if being proven wrong so many times whilst still alive.
