Hi Tom he did score and he wasn't the worst in the first half. They appeared to just stroll through the first half.

Strange to seem so happy that any Villa defender makes a mistake mate. Can't think of any defender that doesn't make the odd mistake. Good goal to make up for it though.and for what it's worth, single mistake aside, I think Mings came out of that match with a bit more credit than a few other senior squad memebers.
It was never going to be a classic given the rotation, we got through it and great to see some of the young lads getting some vital experience.

Well he did make up for it somewhat. Watkins has done his hamstring that isn’t going to be a quick fix. We are definitely getting down to bare bones now.

DBS TOM loves it, he thinks it proves his point that even though we’re struggling with numbers, Uncle Pau should play every game . Bet he jumped in the air with glee when Mings had that brain fart .UTV

He couldn’t miss cash put it on a plate for the not sure what there keeper was doing fact is against a better opposition that will not happen. Against a better opposition everytime mings gets the ball they will press him as they know he will make a mistake there is a reason every set of fans that come to villa park sing about him been rubbish they don’t do that about good players.

Hi Tom you do talk some rubbish. Mings made the run to get to the ball and made a good header to score. When talking of brain farts you will find all players have them, didn't the Torres brain fart cause a defeat against Everton?

I believe that was martienz fault not Torres

100% agree pluffy, he was brave going for the header and buried it, yeh mings made a mistake but he’s not getting much game time and like you said every player makes mistakes, not 1 player we have is immune to it. games are not 45 mins or 60 mins, it’s 90+ and this squad try’s till the final whistle, we got so many important players injured so what do people expect, we won we finished second, 3 competitions on the go and we are winning regular, we can’t ask for much more

Tom I suggest you watch the Everton game again, it was definitely Torres who got his legs twisted and lost the ball.

Hi Tom just copied the report for you.
GOAL! Aston Villa 0-1 Everton (Barry, 59)
A MAJOR ERROR FROM TORRES OPENS THE DOOR FOR BARRY!
Torres miscontrols a pass from Konsa and it's McNeil who picks the loose ball up before curling a tame effort towards goal.
Martinez makes the save but palms it into the path of Barry, who lifts it over the Argentina shotstopper and into the back of the net!
The goalkeeper should do a lot better there. It was a tame effort, which should've been caught.
Konsa tried to make an acrobatic clearance and made connection but couldn't stop it. Everton lead!

Torres has made mistakes but I saw that one as a terrible pass from Konsa that made it very difficult for Pau. Konsa seems to get away with murder sometimes, in danger of becoming Van Dijk levels of untouchable to some.
