Not sure how true these rumours are, Emery has pretty much total control of the football operation at Villa, he won’t get that at any other club and I’m not sure having to work with InEOS and the Glazers would be that attractive. However time will tell and as Alain these kind of things money talks. If he does go I am sure we will live to regret it in the long term

You know the old saying about, careful what you wish for . With what’s happening at the moment, hope it doesn’t but this could really end badly. We all agree there’s things happening we’ve all got opinions on . Emery is no idiot, he knows things, ideas have got to change . He was right about the idol defending, three players just stood and watched, instead of defending the ball, for their goal . Personally I think some players have become a bit comfortable. Despite what Tom says, I think Mings should get the captaincy back, he’s by far our best defender and organiser . I love Ginny for his tenacity, but have to agree at times that’s just not enough. As I said when we get a full midfield complement back, I don’t think we will see him as much . With Ollie he’s always been a confidence player, so Emery has to sort out his supply chain . Ok if he’d scored that chance at the end, we wouldn’t have had all this, a win would have calmed everybody down .

Have heard something today that explains a lot, Martinez loss of form included. He's been completely sold down the river by Amorim .as far back as July, Martinez was approached by Amorim, saying how much he wanted him at Man U, then only inquired about a loan . Word is that Martinez never left Bodymoor all day waiting for the call . We've said about how his form had dropped as if head wasn't fully on it .

Adding to the above post, Iv just seen on another site, another explanation. As far back as January players where told about the financial problems Villa where having . Some top players were told, including Martinez, that if they wanted to leave their agents could get involved. Now this puts another slant on it, if true you can understand some of the upset .
Certainly things have gone on behind the scenes, all caused by these financial restrictions we are faced with .UTV

VJ you’ve got non league and small kids getting picked up by agents now, they are a curse . First one I knew of was a lad I worked at the Rover with, Vince Okiefe . He played in goal for Torquay, then got picked up by Blackburn, waited ages for his chance, eventually got in and played great . Sadly he suffered a terrible leg break and had to give the game up . He was offered the chance of a job with the FA, this gave him the opportunity to become an agent, he had some top players in his time, one was Chris Sutton .

You all know what a big fan I was of Mr Heck HaHa, it appears that a lot of the complaints by fans groups, seem to have been listened to . We've just been scanning the ticketing on the Villa site, one of my main moans was Heck's treatment of pensioners and kids . It seems as if, this season they have frozen both. Even the start of the article, seems to be less aggressive, than Heck . When Heck left, he seemed a bit pissed off, as his bit of a rant showed . We've said before how it's easy to say how important you are to the club, it's another thing to show it . Even their attitude to the 45, 000 on the waiting list, seems to have shifted, they've noticed that most on there, haven't attempted to buy match ticket .
So here's hoping things are looking up UTV

Well that makes me feel a lot better. If there are 45k on the season ticket waiting list then, at around about the 2000 mark, I’m in the top 5%. At 66 years old, It gives ‘Villa ‘til I die’ a whole new sense of unlikely optimism ? BTW, if I’d gone to every home match last season, it would have cost me around £1500

Not a bad window, I know a lot of ifs and buts, still to see . With these added players, if they play anywhere near their potential, it's looking good . Hard work, got to give it Edward's, certainly got them up for it . Just how many bad refs are left, he let them get away with murder, it says 31 fouls committed, but it seemed more than that . We seemed as if energy levels were down .

What happened to the peaceful Swiss? When they started ripping up seats, I thought it was going to be abandoned. First half we played some nice stuff, just not clinical, Malan was brilliant, would still like to see him in a two with Ollie.
This would allow Ollie so much more room, plus take some pressure off him . You could see them scoring, we took all the pressure off them and started getting sloppy .sancho needed mins, but by the end, he'd got nothing left . UTV

Another waste in tickets, gave ourselves 2 hours, after 1 hour we hadn't even got out of Chelmsley wood . We complain about pot holes, but why cause chaos, by doing them all at the same time HaHa . Heard that West Mids police reckon that it cost £2 million to police that game, they should charge the people who arranged the protest as they reckon that the police was only present to protect their safety, as long as Villa don't have to the extra cost

Hard fought win, second half we had to match them, for effort and fire . Ollie played better second half, he plays better with Malan up with him . Rogers two goals brilliant, the free kick, had Buendia written all over it . Emery certainly uses his subs brilliantly, once again it worked . Up to Forth UTV

Dave Emery has to try Ollie and Malan as a two, honestly believe it would free Ollie up . As far as Guessand is concerned, Obviously Emery likes the fact, he’s big strong pacy and gets back defensively. His problems start when he gets forward, he can do the odd good thing, but his brain and feet just don’t appear to work fast enough. UTV

Rknewell agree all the way, Ollie is so much better with Malan up there with him . For one it takes a lot of pressure of him, with more space he could get his touch back .
We know at the moment Ollie is lacking in confidence, problem is he just doesn’t attack the ball . Noticed how the pulse rates go up when Malan gets the ball . UTV
