Reports that Rogers could look for a move if we don’t get C/L football next season, if he feels that strongly, why don’t he get his finger out and help get it. You can’t blame Villas lack of form on one player, but his sudden lack of form certainly come at the wrong time. UTV.

Got the draw, beautiful goal by Rogers . The Brazilian kid of theirs, took his goal well, but aided and abetted by Digna playing statues . Onana was brilliant, lost count of the headers he won, amazed he got the 90 mins . Sancho played some nice stuff first half, but second half we had a lot of players looking very leggy . You may as well of played my Mrs, for Bailey, every 50-50 he lost, just no commitment.
Ollie time and again, just doesn't attack any balls put across the box, surprised that Tammy didn't get on earlier. Got to give it them, the amount of pressure they put on us . But in saying that, we helped second half, by not putting two passes together .
At least we never lost, back on track for a top four . UTV

I think Mings has to take some responsibility for it aswel he gave him 2 much space to shoot, he does give better support to Martinez for corners and set piece into the box but defending in open play he’s not good enough for the PL.
feel sorry for Lindelof he was playing better than both Mings and Torres when he lost his place. it’s going to be a long few weeks waiting for tielemans to come back. missed maginn tenacity big time aswel

It is a bit odd that Malen is in Rome and that there's no sign of a replacement. We're going to be short of players for Sunday. I know Guessand is back but doubt he'll put much fear into the Everton defenders! I don't think Ceballos is very good either so hope we don't overspend on him.

One of them tonight, at times it was like second gear, do nothing wrong. Lindeloff, Bogart and Ginny our best tonight, how refreshing to see Lindeloff receive the ball, no turning back; if pass on, play it early, no pass on, bring it out. Still can’t work Rogers out; I remember only one decent pass all night. Just not working for Tammy tonight, passes just over hit, people moan about Ollie, but how many times did he make good runs, put the ball in without anybody following up.
Sancho once again showed some good touches, with his fast feet and quick one twos, I reckon he would be better as a 10.
The Hammers Sunday, another need to win, will have to up it a bit, never mind their position, they haven’t been playing bad. UTV

The Premier League looking after the big clubs again, naughty Chelsea have been at it again. Secret payments and other fiddling going on, do the league hit them hard, the way they have with others, not likely. On social media, it’s been called an embarrassing agreement, between the two. With the league doing this, they worry that it will open the door for Man City to push through a soft deal of their own.
Been reported that Chelsea did secret deals over so many yrs totalling £47m, so how come they only get fined £10m. After the way so called smaller clubs have been treated, it’s diabolical what’s gone on here, the fans sing about the FA being corrupt, if only we knew half of it. UTV

Hi Dave, The thing that annoys me is that a lot of the payments allegedly were to attract top young players who can then be sold on as pure profit. This is really like winning twice or 3 times if you loan them out and then sell them.
If the Premier League knows the amount was £47 million, why isn't the fine at least that figure?

Pluffy, the whole thing stinks. Chelsea, for years, have been involved in one thing after another. As you say, this mainly involves young players, who they have snatched up and palmed out worldwide. What they should be looking at is not the £47m spent, but what amounts have, or could be, made off them. City are the same; look at the number of Premier League players that come through their academy.
They haven't yet disclosed what they have on City, but it makes you wonder what watered-down deal they will make for them. You can imagine the difference if it was Villa, or one of, in their opinion, lower sides. The Sky 6 live on UTV.

Once again, except for our own, the results have gone for us, if only we had got a bit of form back. Looking at our next six games, at one time we would count them all winnable. Watching Liverpool earlier, even they look nowhere near their best. Get West Ham out the way next Sunday, then we have the break and hopefully Tielemans back.
With Sancho unable to face his parent club, Emery was a bit restricted, thought it would have been ideal for Alyson to have a run on the right, but he must be injured still. We're getting more and more sloppy with keeping the ball; once again goals came from us giving them the ball. UTV

You can have all the good approach play in the world, but if there’s not threat up front, it doesn’t matter. You can’t afford to carry, all the passengers we are. Ollie is bereft of any confidence at all, his first touch is absolutely terrible. Rogers is becoming non existent, nothing at all today again. Don’t know if that bandage on his hand is throwing him off balance.
Don’t care what anyone else thinks, Mings showed why he’s our best defender today. 2-1 down. 3-1 same again, no urgency, way to slow in our passing. Goals soft, gifted by the ball being lost, because we’re not strong enough in 50-50s. The cock up at the end summed us up, empty net with two players running in. UTV

Dave, we are not strong enough in every department, let alone the 50 50's. I'm getting really fed up with Emery's tactics and team selections. Bailey, Buendia, and Watkins are the worst examples. How long does it have to go on before anything changes? It's been two months of abject failure.

You know the old saying about, careful what you wish for . With what’s happening at the moment, hope it doesn’t but this could really end badly. We all agree there’s things happening we’ve all got opinions on . Emery is no idiot, he knows things, ideas have got to change . He was right about the idol defending, three players just stood and watched, instead of defending the ball, for their goal . Personally I think some players have become a bit comfortable. Despite what Tom says, I think Mings should get the captaincy back, he’s by far our best defender and organiser . I love Ginny for his tenacity, but have to agree at times that’s just not enough. As I said when we get a full midfield complement back, I don’t think we will see him as much . With Ollie he’s always been a confidence player, so Emery has to sort out his supply chain . Ok if he’d scored that chance at the end, we wouldn’t have had all this, a win would have calmed everybody down .

VJ you’ve got non league and small kids getting picked up by agents now, they are a curse . First one I knew of was a lad I worked at the Rover with, Vince Okiefe . He played in goal for Torquay, then got picked up by Blackburn, waited ages for his chance, eventually got in and played great . Sadly he suffered a terrible leg break and had to give the game up . He was offered the chance of a job with the FA, this gave him the opportunity to become an agent, he had some top players in his time, one was Chris Sutton .

Dave, as we keep saying, the Sky six is an ongoing reality, a collaboration with the FA and their minions, the officials. For too long now, this has been going on, week after week, decisions going the way of the so-called big sides. How many times have they come and belatedly told the Villa they are sorry for mistakes they have made? Some of the refs we’ve had have been unashamedly biased, I know it's natural to think everyone’s against you, but when it continues it makes you think.
