I hope it's not true. I think Emery is probably thinking I will show those Wan***s just how good a manager I am by rebuilding a better side.
He has done exactly that at previous clubs, and I wouldn't bet against him.

Seen rumours of Tosin from Chelsea, must admit wasn’t that keen, until my lad showed me his stats. Defensively he’s on a par with Konsa, certainly makes more tackles and %94 accuracy passing. Best of all he’s English, that’s needed for our quota in Europe, so overall stats and all he perhaps looks the part. UTV.

What on earth happened second half, far to many, with one eye on Tuesday. All the energy disappeared, Jackson was the only one closing players down, nobody following him up. You can see Emery knows, that Goretzka needs the minutes in his legs, he improved tonight. Can't understand Ginny with the pen, when I saw him with the ball, I was waiting for him to pass it on, surely Jackson or one of the kids have the confidence to take one.
Emery will have to put them on Lucozade drips, to get those energy levels back up, there again they say,”a Mars a day, helps work rest and play ", they will need something. UTV.

Utterly disappointed with Goretzka aswel, maybe he needs time to get back up to speed but I fear he is a spent force having failed to impress in his previous substitute appearances.
I feel THB will be much better with a proper right back outside him, he was far from the worst player on the pitch.
Bizot was totally shocking with the ball at his feet, I fear we will struggle when Suzuki goes to the Asian Cup.
felt sorry for Madjo he had zero service, will he fit our system with a full first team I'm not sure, if not we will make a profit selling him. I'm still waiting to see Garnacho do something great but I fear we probably won't ever see it in a Villa shirt.
there were a few positives, Allyson looks like he's got the attributes to succeed in the PL, I was impressed with Gomes, carried the ball well, made some good passes and showed some nice footwork.
The team that Emery picked showed that it wasn't anywhere near a priority, and if it were even slightly high on Emerys list he would of made changes at half time, I'm not real disappointed that we lost and are out of it but I am disappointed with some of the individual performances that I mentioned above.
I'm expecting a strong performance at the weekend with players after bring rested. we move on to more important things UTV.

Some good points to take out of that, Goretzka, Bellis looked ok, Garnacho full of running when he came on, and Allyson going to terrify defences with his pace and power. Gomes looked good, felt sorry for Brian hardly got a touch, not one of Buendias better nights, and I think Bogard will be on their Christmas card list, for that third goal.
just goes to show depending on the mix, our second eleven not strong enough.
Let's get back on it against Fulham, ( what a ridiculous time that is.) UTV

Was fed up of Man U on Sky, and Andy Burnham on the news, so I watched the game again.
That I think was the best game Iv seen Cash have, all over Doku like a rash, he set the tone of the whole side, with his aggression. It like a light bulb has gone off and Allyson has become a man on a mission, he is playing with pace and once again aggression. Jackson I think will have surprised a lot of people, with just how well he's settled in, and he also has pace, aggression and can certainly score goals. A lot of teams I reckon, will be scratching their heads, and trying to work out how they didn't know about Suzuki, what a signing he's turning out to be.
For that game, you could go through the whole team one by one, and shout how well they played. This shows just how good Emery is at team building, the way it's going, he's building a young, hungry side filled with pace and an abundance of ability. This is one in the eye for all these high paid know nothing pundits, who've been shouting with excitement, that's it Villa are done, all their best players have left them, obviously not knowing Emery, would replace them with better ones HaHa. Exciting times ahead for us, as long as the injuries bogey keeps away. UTV KEEP THE FAITH.

Well said mate. I do think we have to not get ahead of ourselves and expect too much too soon, but it's an exciting time to be Villa fan and although we may have a 'transitional' interim with some inconsistent moments (to be expected with a young new team) I think our overall potential ceiling has increased since last year and set some really encouraging foundations for the future.
I know I sound like a very old broken record, but it's about not getting too carried away when we're on form and not hitting the panic button when we're struggling for form. Just enjoy the ride.

As I said these pundits drive you mad, they can't wait for Villa to trip up. A lot of it I think is disbelief that Villa are fighting against the norm and doing so well.
As you can imagine the Villa have been the bane of my Mrs life over the years, but with my two lads and the Grandsons, she's not got a lot of choice HaHa. Most of my hope is for my Sons and Grandsons, to carry on the Villa cause UTV.

Completely understandable and I'm not necessarily suggesting we don't get excited.why bother following football if we don't eh? It's more just trying to manage expectations a bit.we've all seen it (and read it on here at times) before.Villa start doing well, build up expectations and then as soon as we hit a bit of bad form or results drop off the same old comments come out, the manager, owner, tactics etc get questioned.all because we dared to raise expectations in the first place.
