We are operating very closely to financial fair play rules this season. As anybody thought if we don't go up this season how the club will operate next season? We could lose our big players from the teams coming down because they have much more financial power and we will have only a small amount of parachute money left. Already this season Steve Bruce as use the phrase box clever to get players in. And the real reason we have all these old players is there cheap. We better hope JT and Samba don't retire or we won't have any cbks at the club. You see all the money wasted on the players eg RDM and Steve Bruce has come back to haunt us. All of this will be down to Tony Xia for poor choosing of managers which leads to poor recruitment. His personal wealth won't come into it so Villa fans say what you like its this season or never because of financial fair play rules.

I raised this point when baker left that if we don't go up we need to hope samba and it don't retire and that they are still able to cut it physically, by the end of this season the money spent when garde was in charge becomes not an issue as it's outside the 3 years the ffp refers to, we will then have funds available.

Do you not understand it is a chain if Dr Tony pick the wrong manager then the manager recruit poor players and the players play poorly. You could give coco the Clown money doesn't mean your a good chairman i would rather him pick the right manager 1st. now because of his mistakes the club could be here for good because of FFP rules. you try getting 10 million back for Ross McCormack or 15 million for Hogan it won't happen he picks poor managers then that manager wastes his money.

One for promotion out of the championship
One to stay in the premier league
And the third to kick on once we have secured premier league status
Championship clubs can lose a maximum of 13million in one season . But don't forget we have parachute payments
Premier league clubs can lose 105 million over 3 years but this is also dependant on new TV deals and also promotion payment for getting back to the premier league .
For once just stop moaning about everything villa related . Tony Xia is a young man who had made millions out of business ventures he is no ones fool so trust the man to come good and stop moaning.

It's not the dr's fault. He's come from China, not knowing the game, appointed a manager who had won the champions league, didn't work out so rightly got rid. Appointed the most successful championship manager ever who months before was linked with the England job. No-one on here was moaning when we bought McCormack. He also has a proven record. Hogan was doing well when we bought him. I still think Hogan will cone good. He looks sharp. Just needs a goal. We have to get behind bruce. History shows he knows how to get out of this league. Admittedly I disagree with a few of his decisions like starting bacuna when hourihane is on the bench! But what manager would everyone agree with 100% of the time? As for FFP there is one thing that worries me slightly. I read somewhere that if an owner pays out of their own money, no the club revenue, it doesn't affect FFP. So maybe Tony isn't as rich as we think. Or maybe he doesn't want to plough his own person fortune into players which is fair enough. Predicting Bruce to play a strong side tonight to get a win and a bit of confidence. Also I hope he does as I only need villa and Leeds in an acca for £158. Haha. UTV.

So it looks like trimming the squad is well underway and we are actually looking for the right price rather than letting players go cheap. Ross McCormack as been left out the squad for germany so happy we have a great owner.

I don't think Sunderland have got the money to pay 6-7 mil for him so I could see us end up loaning him out again which is weird. His on a huge contract so if we can't get him off the books completely we should utilise him, people we're raving about him in the friendlies but whilst he didn't look over weight his first touch was abysmal and he missed a hat trick of chances in the first game.
That being said his record speaks for itself, he looked half decent last year when he was overweight for us, so got to be worth a space on the bench if we can't sell him.

I think he did take liberties last year and maybe has a chip on his shoulder, but whilst Kodjia was his for us I remember 3 times before January where kodjia passing to McCormack who would of had an open goal would of won us 3 games. Leeds being the distinct one. Someone mentioned him having a divorce or something because of living apart but it all sounds like bull to me, he has an attitude problem.

Gutted on todays performance we should have won that game by 5 or 6 its time to get tough on these players missing chances. 2nd half i think fitness kicked in because we put so much effort into the 1st half and let's be honest the Germany tour was a joke we had it near enough canceled. Enjoyed the game and saw signs of us doing well but Steve Bruce don't help himself picking Bacuna. I think we all knew missing all these chances what was going to happen. On to the next game. UTV.

I belive that players are getting that rich that its effecting the players brain its like there so rich they don't care about anything. 1 million a week before tax you can't spend that money. We seriously need to look into these deals I mean it wouldn't be to bad if they was spending the money on youth but even then these transfer fees are sickening. Football is no longer the working mans game its us the fans that will pay with ticket prices etc.

Iam feeling the love once again they are my views. I don't belive we can play for 90 min we only ever play for 1 half we have recruited poorly as even Big Ron agrees. And until Mr. Bruce starts wining I only go on what I see which is a manager who doesn't know his best team who has recruited poorly and has the tactics of a goldfish. I love my club and want the best that's why I get so angry but none of my views are personal and I respect you all as fellow Villa fans. His clueless 1st he buys players in january and then he doesn't use them. Then this summer he buys a load of old players that if we didn't buy them they would probably retire. His Tactics are old and dated and he doesn't know his best team so what ever this clown does wouldn't surprise me. He buys Hogan for a whopping fee he doesn't score now wants more money to buy replacements. Hull have sold all there best players they only have 18 players at the club and we couldn't beat them. Bruce will be sacked if he doesn't turn it around this year.

Because our preseason was ruined they canceled 2 games in germany which left us behind on games. most teams had 5 or 6 friendlys we had few knock about with local sides an 2 45 min halfs in Germany. If iam honest fitness is everything that's 1 of the reasons spurs were so good last year they were fitter than everybody else. If you notice Villa can't play for 90 min no matter whos manager.
