If photos doing the rounds are genuine, Morgan Sanson could be a done deal š¤.
18 Jan 2021 18:30:46
Havenāt seen them mate, do tell?
18 Jan 2021 18:45:30
Apparently its been photoshopped Whack, his head, Barkley's body š³.
18 Jan 2021 21:58:52
Kids are very quick with these things, saw one on Lingard in the changing room at Villa park the other day, looked almost perfect.
19 Jan 2021 00:28:15
Barkleys head on sansons body would be a decent transfer lol might spend less time out injuredšš.
16 Jan 2021 14:18:00
Another one out and about, Callum Rowe out on loan to Hereford.
16 Jan 2021 15:38:10
They may be going to non league teams, but its vital experience of playing regular "Mens" football and will only help their development. And it never did the likes of Vardy, Smalling and our very own Ian Taylor any harm, so let's keep our fingers crossed. As one of Eddie Murphy's characters in Coming to America once sang " I believe the children are our future " šš.

Bang on Moose, heāll learn more in the next few months about being a pro than he has last few years!
15 Jan 2021 16:41:22
Looks like I wasn't far wrong when I said the phone would be ringing, after the youngsters performances in the cup.
Revan off to Weymouth on loan. I thought he'd be out a bit higher up the tree, however playing week in week out is most important!
15 Jan 2021 18:04:25
3rd from bottom in the National league and conceding an average of 2 goals a game. Dominic has got his work cut out by the looks of it, but Iām sure heās up to the task, if his performance against Liverpool is anything to go by.
Good luck Dominic.

Galatasary to meet Aston Villa this week to discuss trez going there on loan, just because he's supposedly on their managers shortlist. did u ever hear such rubbish, why would we even entertain any talks of loaning a first team player, news now articles really are the bottom of the barrel reporting.
13 Jan 2021 17:09:59
I think there may be some validity in this rumour whacky.
Trez has some ties with the guy at Galatasaray, having already worked with him.
this is not the first time this has surfaced, so I would not hold your breath on this happening, if not now possibly the summer.
13 Jan 2021 17:47:36
I might be in a minority but I for one wouldnāt be desperately upset if he leaves I think he works incredibly hard for the team but we need a bit more quality certainly when it comes to finishing and he just doesnāt have it for me Iām afraid.
13 Jan 2021 18:36:27
Thatās like saying all the Brentford and Chelsea team have ties to Aston Villa because of dean and JT. villa aināt loaning trez to anyone, if heās not in the first 11 heās the first sub used, he was linked to several Turkish teams in the summer itās just usual BS articles no substance whatsoever, it would be 1 thing if they were going to buy him u might think ok maybe we want funds to make a purchase but a loan makes no sense when we are struggling for depth. yesterday it was Freddie going to turkey, which maybe had some lvl of believability, they can have Lansbury šš.
13 Jan 2021 19:01:46
That`s fine whacky, if that`s how you see it and you think it`s BS.
I agree with you John, he works hard yes, but my opinion remains the same, very erratic and snatches at everything, needs to calm down.
13 Jan 2021 19:17:19
My main point Dave is if trez is on the bench and we need to take off a winger heās our best and only option at the minute unless we move Ollie out the wing and bring on Davis which hasnāt worked anytime we have done so but bringing on trez you have a chance of creating something with his pace, and I do agree to a point he does need to calm down a bit he does tend to snatch at things but he also gets in great positions and has scored some very important goals for us, as it stands we need 1 more winger, if he were to leave we need to buy 2 and that certainly wonāt happen in January we will be lucky if we get 1 in. I like him to be honest he gives his all and never stops trying, if we had more like him a few seasons back we wouldnāt of gotten relegated, heās needs more developing but heās exactly the type of player we want to see wear our jersey.
13 Jan 2021 19:29:56
That was mainly because El Ghazi was not performing, and he always looked disinterested, he has now found another mojo, and we did not have Traore back then either.
Its all about opinions mate, and how we individually see things mate.
13 Jan 2021 21:46:07
I canāt see us getting rid of anyone at the minute without replacement, it would be utter madness. Unlike previous management, Deano and his team arenāt that naĆÆve.
12 Jan 2021 18:30:04
I see Bogarde has signed his first professional contract, hopefully the first of many of our talented youngsters to sign on the dotted line.
12 Jan 2021 19:23:18
Add Chrisene to that list.
12 Jan 2021 18:22:02
According to reports Sunday's game gone as well.
13 Jan 2021 15:03:12
Probably too early to say, but I wouldn't be surprised if it is called off.
09 Jan 2021 23:07:18
David Brooks is on Dean Smith's hit-list this month. Villa also have their eyes on Reading's Michael Olise.
Smith is keen to add younger players to his squad list in the hope of developing their potential still further and has been given the firepower to move in a depressed market.
- all from Neil Moxley, profile certainly fits with recent activity. Interesting both players can play centrally and out wide in attacking areas. Not sure how reliable Moxley has been in recent windows.
10 Jan 2021 08:45:09
Seen the article Chris and I'd definitely take Brooks, he's a player I've mentioned on here before. Coming back from a serious ankle injury similar to McGinn so probably getting back up to speed. Looks a really useful player and fits the profile just what fee he would command. Don't know anything about the other guy only what I've read in the article.
10 Jan 2021 09:16:09
Seems every man and their dog want Olise Moose, Iām the same as you, never seen him play, but the interest in him is a positive sign.
Iād take Brooks all day long.
10 Jan 2021 09:24:09
I have also mentioned Brooks on here before he would be a great addition adding quality and flexibility to the squad in that he can play in a number of positions either centrally or out wide. In terms of fee I canāt see it being less than Ā£25 million and probably a bit more as I am sure a number of other premier league clubs will be interested if Bournemouth decide to sell which no doubt will drive the price up.
10 Jan 2021 09:39:50
Wasnāt 40 million mooted in the Summer?
Might have to break the transfer record againš¤¦āāļø.
10 Jan 2021 09:48:22
So Iāve done some research, apparently Bournemouth wanted 50 million + in the summer for Brooks, which put off a lot of suiters. With their league position I can imagine this would still be the price, unless they have been hit hard with the current struggles in the world, and need cash.
This bring the question, would you rather get ripped off for Brooks, or pay the reported £25million for Buendia? I like the fact Brooks is British and no doubt a good player, but is he really better than Buendia? Does his game suit us more that Buendias? Tough choice I think.
As for Olise, heās played 23 games this season, 16 times as a starter, very good record for an 18 year old. The highlights videos look brilliant - as usual, Tonev looked like a Bulgarian Messi on YouTube.
I hope we do do some business this window, often we have nothing attacking wise to come from the bench, to change a game. I know with Wesley, Barkley and Trez back fully fit that will change, however we canāt guarantee everyone to be fully fit all the time, so letās have more options around.
10 Jan 2021 09:53:44
If King leaves, which is looking likely, we may be able to sweeten any deal with the possibility of sending Davis, possibly on loan, the other way? š¤.
10 Jan 2021 10:08:59
King has hardly featured for Bournemouth so far this season, if at all. It would appear he wants out, and his contract is up in June.
A bargain to be had there, I think.
I read somewhere Bournemouth were interested in taking Davis on loan Moose, so maybe something could be agreed.
Chris, if the asking price difference between Brooks and Buendia is really 25 million, then surely itās a no brainer.
Thereās only a year difference in their ages, and what exactly can Brooks give us that Buendia canāt?
10 Jan 2021 10:27:57
Having said that Iāve just seen that King played yesterday and scored twice. Also apparently Everton are trying to do a deal for King involving a swap, according to Sky Sports.
10 Jan 2021 10:28:56
It does all come down to price but either would be a great addition, Beundia probably offers more versatility in the midfield areas but Brooks is definitely up there in terms of skill. Win win situation whoever we sign and obviously because of age room for further improvement.
10 Jan 2021 10:35:32
No club will pay Ā£50 million for Brooks as good as he appears to be, thatās totally un realistic and I agree with Mark that you would go with Buendia for Ā£25 million however where I think Norwich will come back up I am not convinced Bournemouth will, so I think it may pay to play the waiting game as I canāt see Brooks being prepared to stay in the championship long term and if thatās the case and the player agitates for a move I am sure the fee will come down.
The other thing to consider is if we do sign Brooks or Olise and given the fact that Ramsey is developing and Smith seems happy to have him on the bench whether we ought to be facilitating a move for Hourihane as at his age he needs to be playing first team football, he has been a good servant to the club but he is dropping down the pecking order bit by bit.
10 Jan 2021 10:56:11
Unfortunately John there's little room for sentiment in football anymore and we'll see players who've been staple squad members for the past few seasons moved on with the minimum amount of fuss but a big thank you as we sign others to take us to the next level. We've also got Elmo and Taylor with their contracts up this year but I don't think we'll be going all out to replace them as some of our promising youth defenders may be drafted in as part of their gradual integration into the squad.
10 Jan 2021 15:05:03
You are probably right Moose but that being the case we probably have no right to moan when the players decide to take whatever actions they see fit to further there careers even when itās at the expense of the club.
10 Jan 2021 15:50:19
Ā£50m? Surely that must be a mistype! The world has gone mad. Have seen a little of Brooks and he is decent but not at that price.
Would expect us to be looking at value if weāre looking at all.
Olise looks a good shout, one for the future but wouldnāt be in our match day squad. Again it will come down to price/ value. January is notorious for premium values.
10 Jan 2021 16:14:19
Its always happened John always will. The time of someone staying at a club for their career is over, unless you're Gabby just taking the cash at the end. If they do move on the world will still keep turning and Villa will be here long after they've been forgotten.
It's up to us as a club to become that successful they won't want to go anywhere else and therein lies the challenge. I'm confident tho that with our owners we're finally on the right road.
05 Jan 2021 21:00:12
Erickson to villa? Surely not, surely usual bs on news now. would he suit us would u like him?
06 Jan 2021 15:51:26
Oh yeah, definitely take him but I donāt think there is any chance of it happening.
01 Jan 2021 22:23:39
Never a peno for me, so soft. We need to invest in a striker in January, Watkins looks tired and needs a rest (he's be unbelievable so far this season to be fair) .
