Rumours going around that Villa are gonna have main sponsor by Cocacola or Audi. That would be ace if true. Im our owners have something to do with Cocacola aswell could be wrong.

Anyone know what's happening with the youngster Alysson? Not heard anything about him since before the international break.

With the North Stand, I went in there the year it opened, had my front row seat for 35yrs. Was wondering if with all these alterations upheaval, if the club will open up, some of the corporate seats, the ones they aren’t selling regularly. As far as my seat is concerned, myself and a lot of others surrounding mine, where only saying Sunday, hope they don’t decide to take these as more corporate seats.

Before I get hammered and told that this is needed progression, we’re hoping it doesn’t happen, but put yourself in our position, if it was your seat. UTV.

A superb first half should have had more than one. Second half solid, I thought Ollie got his mojo back, Digne had a superb game, great to have SJM and Tielemans back. I have to question Emery regarding Bailey, he obviously sees things that most of us can't. Hopefully this will kickstart our resurgence.

Scotty, are you alright? I'm really worried, only kicking Bailey? Bloody hell. Get yourself down the Dr's for a check up.

I am in a bar in Tenerife that has had the Villa game and Forrest on two TVs next to each other, one game exciting teams trying to score and one team playing slow deliberate football. Guess which one.

We are such a boring lacklustre watch. We are playing a weak second rate team and nothing is changing slow tempo without a clue how to attack. Glad I have restaurant booked for 9 o'clock.

Jonny, give your head a wobble, and take a day off. We won, we are in the Quarter finals. UTV.

Reports that Rogers could look for a move if we don’t get C/L football next season, if he feels that strongly, why don’t he get his finger out and help get it. You can’t blame Villas lack of form on one player, but his sudden lack of form certainly come at the wrong time. UTV.

I think we all can agree that whatever happens, the squad will need refreshing come the summer, and I think the club is at a bit of a crossroads, and have two options. Option 1. Build a squad around Rogers. The consequence being we sell squad players, but given our financial position, our ability to spend big will be strictly limited and we will probably end up using the free transfer market for some acquisitions.

Option 2. We sell Rogers plus squad players which will give us more spending power and enable us to buy better players.
If I’m honest, I’m glad I don’t have to make the decision, as I’m not sure which way to jump.

How many times yesterday did Rogers give the ball away simple 5 yard passes. Personally I think he knows he is going in the summer, and with it been so close to the World Cup his head is already on plane. He thinks he already made the big time, you only have to look at the difference between him and Bruno that's what big players do impact the game.
Ollie confidence is completely shot, Ollie of last season would have left Maguire on his backside when 1v1.
As a club we have got it so wrong in the transfer market look at the way we finished yesterday young center back playing right back, left back playing left midfield, right back playing right midfield.

Majority of this squad is still Dean Smiths and it's getting old our average age yesterday was 31 and to be playing 2 games every week is a big ask.
If and when Rogers goes along with the Emi's Watkins, Bailey, Diagne Mings we need to get our business right and that's going to be a big ask to replace 4-5 players with very little money coming from sales
We are no longer a club that plans for the future ie (giving youth and chance) we are club for the here and now, so even next summer we could be looking to replace Youri and McGinn because of age with little to Zero sell on.

Whack you are restless, it wasn't perfect but any win away from home is good, if Ollie scored every chance he gets, well he wouldn't be playing for Villa would he, let's hope they get the confidence back now for the weekend.

Probably wouldn't be playing for us, but 2 goals in 13 games is simply not good enough. We won't be successful if he keeps wasting golden opportunities. We don't create enough for him to waste so many, and if we don't go to the next round he will get the blame.

Can’t see him playing, but they reckon Ginny could be in the squad for Lille. Rather they unleash him against Man Utd, his energy and drive, is what we’ve been missing UTV.

I'd imagine there will be a massive clear out this summer, there so many still around from Deano's time who I think will go.
Emi, Mings, Pau, Diagne, Bailey, Bundia,
Barkley, Watkins,
None of these are going to fetch big money, but to replace 6-7 players is going to take a lot of money.

Our squad has got old and we seen this last season as well where we dropped off.

I think the problem we will have is shifting some of those on your list, so, whilst I think Ollie and Emi will attract decent offers (£30-35 million), the others will be much more difficult to shift because they are all on big money, and I don't see too many takers, certainly not in the PL, if I'm honest.

Just had to put up with some stick from mates of mine who unfortunately are Chelsea fans and boy did they enjoy highlighting how bad we were on Wednesday. Not only did I have to put up with that grief, they then shared some information which is doing the rounds amongst Chelsea fans, so I thought I would share if nothing more than for a 😆. Apparently Chelsea have agreed terms with Rogers representatives for a move in the summer, Villa are allegedly prepared to sell but want Nicholas Jackson as part of the deal.

The problem is the valuation placed upon the player by Chelsea is much higher than Villa’s. At the moment allegedly neither club is prepared to budge but the Chelsea lads are confident a deal will be done in time for next season.

Don't fancy Jackson tbh, although I'd heard we were having 2nd thoughts due to issues with his temperament.

Certainly not at £60 million which is what Chelsea value him at apparently!

Didn't Chelsea fans claim the exact same thing last summer? I suspect Chelsea are the same as every other club, and don't tell fans about any transfers until there's actually something to tell them.

Apparently Rogers is changing his agent and moving to the same one as Cole Palmer, and they are good mates. People may be putting 2 and 2 together to get 5, but we have a history of selling for big money, and Emery is confident stars can be replaced, so it wouldn't be a total surprise if this had some legs, but, as with all these things, time will tell.
