My mate close to Villa says Gregoire Defrel at BMH

Allyp1972

1.) 07 Jan 2020 18:58:49
Read about it early today, not the greatest scoring record though, strike rate about 1 in 5.
It is unlikely but would prefer Krzysztof Piatek if what we are reading is true.

{Ed002's Note - I would not hold your breath over Piatek - there have already been discussions with two German and one Austrian side.}

2.) 07 Jan 2020 19:32:47
I’ve heard of Deano saying he wants a No9 with Prem experience so those 2 don’t fit the bill, could Big Ben be on his way? It’s been said that Palace want Batsuwotshisname on loan?

UTV.

3.) 07 Jan 2020 19:53:47
I hope not, big Ben is past his bedtime mate, and running a bit slow now.

4.) 07 Jan 2020 19:51:12
Ed I am not going to hold my breath on anyone mate, he would just be a preference to the aforementioned.

Centre forward worth looking at, Sebastian Andersson of Union Berlin, 28, 6ft 3" in last 6 months of his contract, almost a goal every 2 games in the Bundesliga, Swedish international?

I've been told Benrahma been at BHM today and passed medical, announcement tomorrow evening/ early Thursday, still trying for Axel and Phillips, nothing about a No9, only other thing I heard was 100% McGinn staying as looking for a property in an area the right side of Solihull for BMH, no it's not by me in Chelmsley lol 😂

UTV.

Allyp1972

1.) 06 Aug 2019 16:59:47
With what we have, why Axel.

2.) 06 Aug 2019 21:40:09
We have 3 keepers so why Heaton? because we’re Villa and we spend what we want! 💰💰💰

UTV.

3.) 06 Aug 2019 21:42:30
The last bloke you said was looking for property was Thiery Henry, turn it in.

4.) 06 Aug 2019 21:53:19
So going on your last comment Chris, McGinn is leaving 🤷🏼‍♂️

UTV.

5.) 06 Aug 2019 22:00:37
& Chris, to save you looking back at the archives again, I never said Henry was looking for property, I said someone saw a video conference call with Martinez that made me think it was Martinez we were after when Bruce went

UTV.

6.) 07 Aug 2019 08:25:18
I’ve never said Mcginn is leaving? I said Alan Nixon was reporting united wanted him, his article is still out there. You ok the other hand specifically said Henry was looking at property in the area, then when you was called out on it recently you responded with something along the lines of “caught one today” as if to imply your fishing. Shortly after that Sturridges brothers dogs former owners cousins doctor told you was was in talks to sign him and now you’ve gone with the safe option of Mcginn is staying because he’s buying property the right side of Solihull. You can see why people can be forgiven for thinking you talk out your rear end.

7.) 07 Aug 2019 10:05:09
Errrmmm. the Sturridge 1 wasn’t me, was someone from Tile Cross that said that, I’m from Chelmsley Wood 🤷🏼‍♂️ I’ve said we should go for Sturridge though, need to check your archives a lil more thorough mate, just accept that if someone in and around Villa tells me something, I like to share as it’s a RUMOURS site, can’t put it more simply than that tbh?

UTV.

8.) 07 Aug 2019 12:02:49
But if someone in and around villa tells you stuff that never comes off, why are you still listening to them?

27 Jul 2019 23:35:13
Be honest. it might just be a rehash of something or there's no smoke without fire. if MUFC bid £50M for McGinn, would you take it? I would 🤷🏼‍♂️

1.) 28 Jul 2019 09:44:09
No 75m yes.

2.) 28 Jul 2019 13:01:34
We don’t need the money our owners are richer than the glazers, so why sell unless of course the player has a desire to leave .

Personally I think if results don’t go the way of man united, I can see them sacking ole and going for Pochettino or Nuno from wolves.

3.) 28 Jul 2019 20:17:15
Making a 47 million pound profit in 1 year on a player that’s not proven yet in the premier league. On paper we would be daft to turn it down.
On the other hand. he’s part of the teams core and we don’t need the money. Keep!

25 Jul 2019 19:02:06
Just had a look of some of the YouTube of that Italian keeper, he's a bit special, I'd say a bit unorthodox like Schmeical (Snr) brave like Laursen, if it's a loan I'd bite their hand off

It's been put out there that Benteke is available on loan now, no brainier for me, get him in

UTV.

Allyp1972

1.) 14 Jan 2020 17:58:23
72 I happen to think it might just work. We definitely got the best out of big ben, how often do big money signings not work, his confidence was shot at Liverpool and palace hasn't been a success. He connected with the fans at VP and still has something to prove, if only to himself. So he can't possibly be any worse the Wes, so I say give it a go, as Villadave says "sink or swim" I think Ben will keep us swimming.

2.) 14 Jan 2020 18:40:39
Strike rate stats from his Villa days are on his side:

Big Ben - 101 games 49 goals = 48.5%
Shaw - 213 games 79 goals = 37%
Withe - 231 games 90 goals = 39%

Mind you, that was a couple of years back but I reckon its worth a punt.

3.) 14 Jan 2020 21:32:18
Benteke is past it low on confidence that’s the last thing we need I really hope we don’t sign him.

4.) 15 Jan 2020 11:52:10
Not as past it as Llorente though - he's 34 and with a much much worse strike rate than Benteke. Even Spurs don't want him back now.

11 Jan 2020 19:07:35
Looking at that Tino Kampewe according to some reports, Zimbabwe team mate of Marvellous, got 17 in 19 so far this season, looks the business, Transfermarket say he's right footed, most of his goals are with his left, expecting pelters because he plays in 2nd tier of French football, but a few Prem teams are after him, and Lyon, £15M gets him

His pedigree is not great to be honest.

5.) 11 Jan 2020 21:12:22
Tbf, George Weah wasn’t from a royal family but he did ok for himself 🤷🏼‍♂️

Allyp1972, Your reply made me laugh, very funny and can see the funny side
However, See below, taken from Collins English Dictionary.

His football pedigree is good enough for him to deserve an opportunity like this.
The Sun (2016)
3. COUNTABLE NOUN [oft poss NOUN]
Someone's pedigree is their (background) or their ancestors.

Sorry mate.

7.) 12 Jan 2020 15:12:30
I have copied and pasted.

Le Havre is a Ligue 2 football team based in Le Havre, Normandy which has spent most of its life as France's second-tier club. It is highly unlikely that you would have heard the name of this club because the last time the club was in top-flight was during the 2008-09 season. It was the first club outside of Paris to win the French title (but that happened way back in 1900).

This club has a rich history as well as an age-old tradition of producing world-class players, some of whom have played, and are still playing for some of the biggest teams in the world.

Pogba, Payet, Mahrez to name a few

UTV.

8.) 12 Jan 2020 15:49:57
Have been there, and heard of their team, in fact I have traded on them several times in the past.
They won their last game away to Niort 2 days ago.
I thought you were having a pop at the fact I had said his pedigree is not great.
He has only started scoring on a regular basis the last 2 seasons, he does look ok though to be honest.

9.) 12 Jan 2020 16:15:27
I just think it’s about time we got 1 of these future world/ prem class players before they go for mega money again, Benteke was the last 1, Barry was probs the last 1 before that (technically we bought him from Brighton cheap)

UTV.

05 Jan 2020 15:58:28
I've been reading that Villa are interested in Randolph and Assanbalonga (correct my spelling if it's wrong) from Boro, I'd be happy with that

UTV.

Allyp1972

1.) 06 Jan 2020 03:48:08
What! -that old Hollywood actor from them cowboy films-nnnoo, surely not Ally, someone's told a proper porky pie there mate! -oh yeah, doh! -he'd be a great replacement but didn't they just turn down an offer from West ham for him? -as for assombalonga, I hope not, it would cost a fortune getting his name printed on the back of the jersey-not that I'm tight with money or anything like that fella!

2.) 06 Jan 2020 08:40:43
Assombalonga really?
Spends most of time on treatment table.
Plus as a player not impressed in my opinion.
Randolph would be decent signing,
My list reality wise! Most I don't want myself.
Randolph == I would have
Drinkwater == not for me.
Giroud == unlikely to happen but a class striker
Batshuayi ==will not happen
Bowen== can he step up from championship?
Eze== my tip for the top but we will not get him
Hart==could happen but prefer Randolph.
Santamaria == a possiblty but no premiership experience
Sammata == worth a shout.
Kamara== this could happen in my view.
Morales == will not happen.
So a mishmash mash of players who could be on our list or not.
Top striker is urgently wanted but who wants to come to a struggling lower premiership side in fear of relegation.
We might not get who most fans think we should get.

3.) 06 Jan 2020 16:08:25
I honestly think we will get a striker we have no chance of staying up if don't . i'd love to have charlie austin but don't they would sell . I think villa will go for kalvein phillips and brentford striker . We need a miracle signing like when we got darren bent .

07 Dec 2019 19:52:36
If we're looking for a striker in Jan, possibly a loan, Lucas Alario from Bayer Levekausen, he's class, warming the bench there and not happy, don't think they want him to leave without having a replacement, do a loan swap with Kodjia, might do them both a world of good?

Just been reading through the many posts since I've been away. I hope it comes off for Wesley but a wiser choice woulda been Mitrovic. time to steady the ship, drop a winger for an extra midfielder, my midfield would be Grealish McGinn Luiz and Nakamba, El Ghazi being the fall guy (literally 🙄) so Trez for me. Would like to see Guilbert and Targett start but Deano must have his reasons, but Elmo and Taylor ain't playing badly at all. Friday we go again, be interesting to see what happens

UTV.

Allyp1972

1.) 19 Aug 2019 22:09:46
I was thinking the same about midfield we are just a bit to open at the moment I know players are still getting to know one another's game but I think steady the ship get a few points the board first and we will see the confidence of the players, I just don't want to see there heads dropping if we go another couple of games without picking any pts up, looking at the high lights of the game we seemed by far the better team Saturday against a team that has been in the prem for the past 5 seasons and we gave them a rite good go of it,

Gotta agree with Walkies and Cafu, the owners are minted, minted people have the top lawyers and accountants that can find loopholes iif they are actually needed in our case. Maybe somebody could verify this, if we were to go and buy a £50M striker tomorrow, the selling club wouldn’t get £50M cash straight away, it’s payed over the length of the player’s contract in instalments, so even with us spending £130M in the summer, we haven’t actually handed over £130M yet and definitely not in the financial Year whenever that begins and ends. I guess someone is going to say wages but a fair few players that left or were released were on big money even in the Championship 🤷🏼‍♂️

Lucas Alario for me, if Wes is out then he’s guaranteed a start which is what he’s after, loan to buy, would be the best No9 we’ve had since Carew

Can’t disagree with any of that. But. give Deano Pep money and we wouldn’t have to buy ‘cheaper alternatives’ and though they are not the biggest flops that we’ve bought, Marvellous and Luiz for £25M when it seemed that it was the Leeds lad that we wanted (my preference woulda been Isaac Hayden) for the same amount of money, proves your point. My solution for Pep money is to sell the stadium naming rights for mega money, just like I’m sure Citeh have done with their stadium, which is sponsored by the owners cousin or something? Bit underhanded but I’d say VP could be sponsored for £1 or £1B by anyone other than the owners, it’s up to them what it is worth, problem solved. Villa Park will always be Villa Park, if it’s called the Adidas Arena I couldn’t care less because it’s still Villa Park
